SAP VC (Variant Configuration) Consultant

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in the SAP module of Variant Configuration.
• Translate business requirements into functional design for VC.
• Identify, document, highlight and escalate issues related to VC.
• Develop / manage detailed configuration and testing of the system to meet functional business requirements
• Responsible for the technical design, construction, testing and delivery of the system based on functional business requirements
• Mentor other consultants in SAP VC configuration settings.
• Prepare training materials and conduct project team training and/or end-user training.
• Perform post-implementation support or knowledge transfer activities as necessary in projects

Qualifications & Requirements:

• SAP consultant with In-depth knowledge of Variant Configuration.
• Implementation experience in cross-functional integration with MM, PP, PS, FICO and PLM Systems
• Minimum of 8+ years SAP project experience with 2-3 full-cycle SAP implementation projects as Lead Consultant.
• SAP Variant Configuration (VC) experience plus experience in one additional SAP module (MM, PP, or SD preferred)
• Worked with complex configurable models
• Experience in system configuration, development of functional specifications, conduct workshops, and preparation of the Business Blueprint
• Ability to document, validate, challenge business requirements and translate them into design and functional specifications
• S/4HANA project experience is a plus
• Experience with standard Advanced Variant Configuration is a plus
• Manufacturing industry experience is a must
• Excellent English communication / presentation skills (verbal and written)
• Open to travel based on client requirements
